'87 Porsche 911

This 11K mile 911 is a great example of a well preserved Porsche. Unfortunantly, many years of sitting resulted in stuck piston rings which required a top end overhaul. We updated the motor with ARP head studs, coated OEM pistons, and Total Seal rings. Heads were fully rebuilt with new valve stem seals, valve timing reset and valves adjusted. While we strived to preserve as much of the originality as we could, we did opt to coat the exahust in a cermaic grey coating to mimic OE looks. The original rubber fuel lines were rebuilt locally, saving the original ends and updating to modern rubber. The clutch system was also updated to a modern sprung disk and 997 style release fork. We upgraded the shocks to Bilstein Green's for an OE ride, completed a 4 wheel alignment and ride height adjustment, and installed new Michelin Tires. All the fluids were changed, brakes checked, and verified that all the lighting and instrumentation works as new.
